Announcement Coincides with New Name, New Logo and Website Re-launch

NEW YORK, NY, March 7, 2016 — Gino Colangelo, president of Colangelo & Partners (www.colangelopr.com), a mid-sized Manhattan-based leader in integrated communications for premium wine, spirits, food and lifestyle companies, announces today the opening of the agency’s first wholly-owned satellite office, located in San Francisco.  The new office opening coincides with the re-naming of the agency — from ‘Colangelo & Partners Public Relations’ to simply, ‘Colangelo & Partners’ — a new logo and a relaunched website.

“As a fine wine, food and spirits agency, the natural next step for our growth was to establish ourselves in the San Francisco Bay Area, America’s epicenter for wine and food production,” said Gino Colangelo.  “The new West Coast office will allow us to better serve our existing, largely international clientele as well as develop the enormous potential of the California market for food, wine and spirits.”  Two Colangelo & Partners’ veteran account executives, Tiffany Hoang and Juliana Colangelo, will relocate to open the new office.

The rebranding of the agency — new name, logo and website — happens at the same time of the opening of the California office.  “Our new name reflects the changing nature of media in the US,” said Colangelo.  “The most effective programs we execute for our clients integrate our four core capabilities: press relations, trade relations, events and social media. Our new name with our tagline, ‘An Integrated Communications Agency,’ is a more accurate representation of our service offering.”

Colangelo & Partners experienced continued growth in 2015, increasing billings by 27% and expanding to a staff of over 40. The agency expects to continue this trajectory through domestic expansion.  “We’ve built our reputation as a fine wine, food and spirits agency focused on largely imported, entrepreneur-driven, family-owned companies combined with institutional clients like Wines from Spain, the Prosecco Consortium and Wines of South Africa.  Our focus on these types of clients won’t change; we’ll just be looking to expand within our own country.”

Colangelo & Partners has also expanded its digital marketing team to six people and added in-house photography and design services. “Having these design, creative and technical services in-house allows us to work fast and cost-effectively, a huge value offering to our clients and in keeping with the speed at which we turn around work in today’s media environment,” concluded Colangelo.

Recent client wins for Colangelo & Partners include: Bodegas Esteban Martin (press and trade tastings), C. Mondavi and Family’s Purple Heart Wine (press relations), the DO La Mancha (importer events), the Espiritus Group (press relations) and Vintage Wine Estates’ Viansa Sonoma (press relations, social media).
