Who knew that a seminal foodie experience at Di Palo Fine Foods in Little Italy would be the fate of Irish native Denise Finnegan to turn her wanderlust and passion for good food into a public relations career at Colangelo?
As a graduate of Dublin City University in Media Production Management, days may have been spent producing television shows but today all efforts are concentrated on placing her amazing clients in front of the media. Working on media relations for such diverse clients as an Italian mineral water, the largest Japanese supermarket in the USA, and top NYC restaurants ensures no moment is ever dull and drooling over food porn sites is justifiable research.
When not happily juggling the needs of her clients, she makes the most of what the city has to offer, heading out of town for the weekends, hitting the beach in the summer and mountains in the winter with the odd half marathon thrown in a consequence of over indulging in cured meats from her still favorite place in NYC, Di Palo Fine Foods. Denise has worked on a diverse range of clients that include: BOLD Organics Gluten Free Pizza, Grana Padano, Rebootizer Detox Supplement and Castilla La Mancha wines.

She moved on to corporate communications and eventually public relations, where she got her start in the wine industry as a project coordinator at Prestige Wine Imports in New York City.
She fulfilled a lifelong dream of living abroad in 2011 when she and her husband moved to Prague, Czech Republic. There, her love and passion for wine was put to the test as the Czech beer offerings were too tempting to resist and she served as the special sections and lifestyles editor of English-language newspaper, The Prague Post.
In her spare time, Megan can typically be found cooking, reading, traveling or just wandering throughout her Brooklyn neighborhood in search of the best Bloody Mary.
After attending Georgetown University, Margot spent the first years of her professional life working in marketing and client management for the financial services industry, until a trip to France changed her perspective on what she wanted out of her career. Margot has earned the WSET Intermediate Certificate (with distinction) and continues to take wine classes around the city to build her wine knowledge.
Margot was always interested in the influence and power that smart marketing has over consumer perception, which led her to explore a career in public relations and join Colangelo & Partners. At CPR, Margot specializes in working with the agency’s wine and restaurant clients. In March 2013, she completed Mediabistro’s Public Relations Certificate program.
