Sonoma Valley wineries Viansa Sonoma and B.R. Cohn lacked awareness amongst regional and national press and consumers as a wine property and brand, and premiere Sonoma winery and olive oil producer respectively.

Colangelo & Partners implemented an integrated communications program to create a steady stream of positive publicity and increase awareness for both Viansa Sonoma and B.R. Cohn.

Driving the program was a strategic influencer marketing campaign that focused on destination marketing. Colangelo & Partners conceptualized, executed and measured the campaign with curated events and strategic social media content production. Exclusively organic, the influencer marketing campaign involved working with both micro- and macro-influencers with an engaged regional and national following.

Results

Strategically developed, executed and monitored an influencer relations program that resulted in an increase in Outlook reservations at Viansa Sonoma, with referrals specifically from Instagram and social media.

Hosted an intimate, curated event for each property that garnered 49,864 (Viansa Sonoma) and 159,334 (B.R. Cohn) impressions on Instagram.

Solidified relationships with over 30 top San Francisco/Bay Area Instagram luminaries in the lifestyle space via intimate influencer events. As a result, influencers became brand evangelists, recommending the properties to their respective networks.
